Job Summary:
The Theater Concessionaire is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service while operating the concession stand in a theater setting. This role requires efficient and friendly service to patrons, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the concession area, and handling transactions accurately. The Theater Concessionaire will work closely with the Concession Manager and other team members to create a positive and enjoyable experience for theater-goers.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide excellent customer service to all patrons by greeting, assisting, and serving them promptly and politely.
2. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
3. Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including popcorn, candy, hot dogs, soft drinks, and other concession offerings.
4. Ensure the concession stand is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies throughout the shift.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of concession items, notifying the Concession Manager when supplies need to be replenished.
6. Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
7. Assist with the setup and breakdown of the concession stand before and after each shift.
8. Maintain knowledge of theater schedules, upcoming shows, and any promotions or special offers to inform patrons.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the concession stand and provide support as needed.
10. Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Concession Manager when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
3. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
4. Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
